Did you attend a trucking school? Most of us have. Some people got lucky and their Dad taught them how to drive. But most of us have had to learn from a school.
How much did you pay? Too Much? Did you sign a contract with a Carrier and go to a company school? Did you end up a wage slave, trying to pay them back for the training while you worked for the company?
Or did you go to a driving school, racking up a nice student loan to have to pay off?

Trucking can be a great job. No boss over your shoulder. Fairly good pay for seeing the country. Just do what they ask and they leave you alone. They can't outsource your job to India and they can't put a robot behind the wheel. No matter how bad the economy is, people still eat, buy clothes and gasoline. There is not ANYTHING that does not come to you on a truck during some part of it's manufacture or delivery.
Trucking companies have the equipment, the loads and the fuel.
The only thing they don't have, is YOU.

If you drive commercial vehicles that weigh 10,000 lbs or more in Massachusetts, you have to have a valid DOT medical certificate with you.
